As Yaşam Hospitals Group, we are pleased to announce the successful completion of the treatment process of the first patient to undergo an allogeneic bone marrow transplant at our Bone Marrow Transplant Unit.
Our first allogeneic bone marrow transplant patient, Baerbel Angela Christiansen, was discharged in good health following the successful completion of her post-transplant treatment and follow-up process.
Allogeneic bone marrow transplantation is an important treatment procedure involving the transplantation of healthy stem cells from a compatible donor to the patient and requires a multidisciplinary approach and close medical follow-up. From pre-transplant preparation to post-transplant care, every stage of our patient’s treatment process was carefully managed by our experienced healthcare team.
This first allogeneic transplant performed at our Bone Marrow Transplant Unit also represents an important milestone in the development of our unit.
We wish our patient a healthy life and extend our sincere thanks to all our physicians, nurses and healthcare professionals who contributed to her treatment and follow-up process.
At Yaşam Hospitals Group, we continue to advance our healthcare services in the field of advanced diagnosis and treatment, with a strong focus on multidisciplinary care and patient safety.
