As Antalya Yaşam Hospitals, we define Person-Centered Care as 'transparent, compassionate and humane care that all patients, their relatives and employees feel themselves at home in an environment that meets their expectations and needs and heals them'.
In this context;
- We give treatment and care to the person with dignity, compassion and respect.
- We coordinate treatment and care well, and enable physicians to manage the process with a common mind in a multidisciplinary approach.
- We personalize treatment and care by taking into account the clinical, social, emotional and practical needs of the person, and enable people to take an active role in their own treatment.
- By focusing on the person, family and social environment rather than focusing on the disease; we position the patient not as a passive recipient but in an equal relationship with healthcare professionals.
Our Human-Centered Care Practices
At Antalya Yaşam Hospitals, we have carried out many studies that reveal our human-centered care approach. In this context, we have redefined partnership with our patients.
- We Listen Our Patients in Management of Our Hospital
In addition to listening to the patients we serve, we position them as our consultants and move on to become a 'patient centered hospital'. We evaluate the requests from patients and their relatives in all areas where we serve, and we take the perspective of patients and their relatives in our improvement works. These improvement works can sometimes be a physical space renewal work or sometimes a process improvement.
- We Include Patient Preferences When Planning Care
We care about preserving the daily routine habits of all our patients we host in our hospitals, unless they have a medical disability. For this reason, we care about the sleep and eating habits and cultural preferences of our patients.
- Patient Preferred Visit Application
If there is no medical restriction, our guests can visit our patients whenever they want. Except for the medical restriction, only our patients decide on the visit restriction.
- Care Partnership Program
Within the framework of our Person-Focused Care approach, we care about ensuring the continuity of care for our patients after they leave the hospital. In this context, we know that the people who help our patients who are discharged home the most are their relatives. For this reason, we provide experience by guiding the relatives of patients on how to care for them during their stay in the hospital. Thus, we ensure that our patient's home care needs are better met.
- Patient Information
We believe that care in our hospitals should be transparent. For this reason, all our patient records are shared with our patients and their relatives (if the patient gives permission). We care about our patients being informed effectively and taking a more active role in managing their diseases.
- Life Enriching Activities
When we look at our patients and their relatives, we are aware that it can be difficult and boring to spend a long time in a hospital. For this reason, we offer our patients different options with Yaşam Extra and support their activities in line with the possibilities.
